9 Fun Group Activities For College Students

Inactivity in the classroom can lead to problem of students being bored with lower grades, and a decrease in participation in class. Teachers who are smart will try engaging group activities that increase the level of interaction and enthusiasm within the class.

1. Assignment in Motion

Theatre group members are never bored or lonely. The purpose of theatre groups is to unite and perform together as a team. Therefore, why not add the theatre experience into your classes? If you are teaching literature, physics or advertising it is possible to turn any subject into an act. First split your students into smaller groups. Then, they must create a story in response to the information they've taught and show the scene by performing the scene. This is popular and every child understands the rules. The only thing you need to do is change the subject matter and focus on the subject that you teach. You can enhance the fun by combining two subjects. For instance, you could let students choose between films or physics or choose literature featuring famous people. This will add an interesting new twist in the gameplay. Students are confused when they are asked to choose a word related to the topic or an actor or movie.
