Why you shouldn't shower every day in winter

1. Does it matter if you don't take a bath every day in the winter?

A lot of us are shirks at having a bath on winter's cold mornings. But , they can also be great to be vindicators. Skin experts across the globe are stating that regular showers are damaging to our skin as we shower more often than we should. We will show how daily bathing is harmful to our skin and why it is important to avoid showering each winter morning.

2. You're not dirtiest

Boston dermatologist Dr. Rinella Hirsch has said that the reason why people wash their skin each day is more in line with social norms rather than being clean. Research has shown that the skin has a an effective way of cleaning itself. If you're not playing and sweating all day or your job can cause you to become dirty, keep clear of the water.

3. You're drying your skin

If you're taking long hot baths in the winter morning to give your body with heat and comfort you're doing much more harm than benefit. They can cause skin to become flaky and dry, and deprive away the essential oils produce to keep it hydrated and secured. If bathing regularly is essential, you should use dry shampoos and soaps. Limit the duration of your shower to 10 minutes, and not more.

4. You'll need that bacteria

The skin's good bacteria are produced to maintain its health and shield it from the toxic chemicals in chemical products. The skin gets rid of these bacteria when you bathe every day or more. Limit the frequency you bathe during winter, to just once every three or two days, as dermatologists advise.

5. Your nails are causing damage

Hot showers every day can damage your nails because they cause them to grow and then peel off and chip. Nails are prone to soak up the water you shower in and, as a result, they lose their natural oils and moisture which makes them weak and dry.

6. You are in the process of wasting water.

A social issue more than a personal one, a study in IS 1172 revealed that the average person using 55 liters of water each day to bathe only. Even if you choose to switch to showering instead of bathing which uses less water but you're still wasting lots of water. It is not recommended to use this information to be a replacement for your physician's guidance. You should consult your doctor for further information.
